Sorry, Mary, I cannot agree with that.

There are some here who say that they are inhabited by the Holy Spirit and therefore infallible in their beliefs. But that is as far as it goes. Some posts verge on Gnosticism, a great and terrible heresy.

Possibly there are individuals who do not need the careful guidance of the Church; I see very few of them here. I took the opportunity to reread a number of threads, and it is very clear that many of those claiming guidance by the Holy Spirit are very obviously being led by something else.

I know you can't and I will never be one to convince you. There are errors in your own church's doctrines and it is not infallible either. We will have to trust God to sort it out for us but it won't come through just one church. Mary
