I have some good friends who are members at Truro. They are greatly relieved that the Vestry has finally taken this step.

Due to the age of the congregation (1750s?) both Truro and Falls Church may have a significantly stronger legal claim to their property (since the congregation pre-exists the Episcopal denomination by over 50 years) than other Virginia churches....AND should they be let out, then maybe other congregations may be let out easier by precedence.

We really need to lift them up in prayer though, as the full weight of ECUSA (no I won't use TEC) will likely be focussed on their exit.
