Interesting. I've posted this list numerous times and it was there. Yes, Presbyterian Church USA is also one of the apostate "churches".

CNN failed to ask Ms. Jefferts Schori exactly when it was that the immutable God changed His mind on this subject.

I used that same term"apostate" to my former pastor of an ELCA church. He didn't like it much. Glad to be gone, but weep for the people in th epews donating to these sickening organizations.

Episcopal church is not a growing Church as one would think, in terms of denomination numbers. As you said their agenda has been hijacked and it has become just another branch for the Libs and the radical left to propagate their views, As Christians we have to concerned about the real traditional believers in the Episcopal Church trapped by its political agenda and hope they get out of it.

Liberal Christians are on slippery foundation, their steadfast ignorance and apathy towards morality is putting them and their church on shaky grounds, maybe this is what the Liberal agenda is .. to weaken the Church.

As a Protestant(non-denominational) conservative, I am in full admiration of the Roman Catholic church steadfast battle against the liberal agenda and the Church's defence of the values of the Bible especially against the acceptance of sodomy and women priests, the Church is a pillar of strength in defending the values of the society.

"I wonder how long until she throws out the other nine commandments....."

For her, it's more like the "10 Suggestions" but even a suggestion is a generous term. It's just so popular with this crowd to "pretzelize" the Scriptures to fit their agendas.

Last time I checked oral or anal sex between a male-female couple counted as sodomy.

"Prevalence of sodomy by the US adult population

Footnote 3, from Schochet v. State, 541 A.2d 183 (Md. App. 1988)

In his first report, Sexual Behavior in the Human Male (1948), Alfred Kinsey found that fewer than half of the men interviewed engaged in fellatio or cunnilingus, even during marriage. In the category of highest incidence—married men with 13+ years of education—45.3% performed cunnilingus and 42.7% engaged in fellatio. Five years later, in his Sexual Behavior in the Human Female, Kinsey reported that 54% of the married women interviewed had engaged in pre-coital cunnilingus and 49% had engaged in fellatio, See also P. Gebhard and A. Johnson, The Kinsey Data (1979). In their 1977 Redbook Report on Female Sexuality, C. Tavris and S. Sadd found that 93% of wives responding reported having engaged in cunnilingus and 91% had engaged in fellatio. They concluded from this response that, "Today it is clear that if the sexual revolution has occurred anywhere, it is in the practice and acceptance of oral sex. Among people under age twenty-five, it is virtually a universal part of the sexual relationship."

P. Blumsteln and P. Schwartz have reported similar statistics—93% of heterosexual couples had engaged in cunnilingus and 90% had engaged in fellatio. See also W. Masters, V. Johnson, and R. Kolodny, Human Sexualily 393 (1985). Nor is this phenomenon confined to the young. E. Brecher reports In Love, Sex, and Aging 358-59 (1984), that, among people over 50, 49% of women and 56% of men engaged in cunnilingus and 43% of women and 49% of men engaged in fellatio."

Well, I wouldn't consider it abuse and I'm not a man. I just don't see the big upset over what people do behind closed doors. If they're a good person in the community, then what does it really matter?

I'm talking about straight people, not gays. I don't get what a gay dreams has to do with it.

Maybe you but not me. And I doubt that many people practice sodomy.

Kinsey's work is not a accurate source of information, he was rumoured to be a pervert and his sample size was heavily skewed and not representative of the population.

First of all, quoting Kinsey statistics gets you nowhere with me. Kinsey was a pervese nut case who stooped so low as to sexually assualt infants in the name of "scientific study" & has been thoroughly discredited for manufacturing out of whole cloth most of his "findings." In fact, it was Kinsey who perpetrated the lie that homosexuals make up 10% of the population - a grossly inflated statistic that has been totally debunked by numerous reputable studies over the past 20 years - but continues to be repeated as if it were true.

Secondly, do you even KNOW what sodomy is? I suspect you do not, considering the fact that you quote Kinsey's bogus "statistics" on oral sex alone. We're not talking about the archaic "legal" definition of sodomy covering every sexual act other than the "missionary style" of copulation. In the present context, sodomy is anal penetration with a penis or other foriegn object. If you're not familiar with a common form of sodomy in homosexual males called "fisting," look it up. I suggest, however, that you refrain from eating anything for several hours before doing that. While you're at it, perhaps you can find some reports from hospital emergency rooms that will educate you about some of the painful & dangerous foreign objects these doctors have had to remove from the rectums of homosexuals - put there voluntarily or involuntarily.

Now, when you get all done with that research, do take the time to let me know if you still think that MOST heterosexuals engage in sodomy & that MOST women would not consider anal sex as abusive.

Sheesh! Now I gotta go take a shower. Just writing about it makes me feel like I've layed down in the mud with swine.

Exactly.

God does not call a behavior an abomination then create people to practice that abomination.

You're right. I had no idea;

Main Entry: sod·omy Pronunciation: 'sä-d&-mE Function: noun

Etymology: Middle English, from Old French sodomie, from Late Latin Sodoma Sodom; from the homosexual proclivities of the men of the city in Gen 19:1-11

1 : copulation with a member of the same sex or with an animal

2 : noncoital and especially anal or oral copulation with a member of the opposite sex.

So she specializes in oysters? Guess that is why she had to trot out the old, tired "shellfish" argument against the Bible ["if you are all so fired up about following the Bible, then why do you eat shrimp and wear mixed-fabric clothes, huh?" This argument must always be delivered with a smirk and in a whiney tone].

Speaking of whiney tones, I am reminded of the following as being particularly appropriate for the new PB (and henceforth I will always refer to the ECUSA Presiding Bishop as "The Walrus"):

The sun was shining on the sea,
Shining with all his might:
He did his very best to make
The billows smooth and bright--
And this was odd, because it was
The middle of the night.

The moon was shining sulkily,
Because she thought the sun
Had got no business to be there
After the day was done--
"It's very rude of him," she said,
"To come and spoil the fun!"

The sea was wet as wet could be,
The sands were dry as dry.
You could not see a cloud, because
No cloud was in the sky:
No birds were flying overhead--
There were no birds to fly.

The Walrus and the Carpenter
Were walking close at hand;
They wept like anything to see
Such quantities of sand:
"If this were only cleared away,"
They said, "it would be grand!"

"If seven maids with seven mops
Swept it for half a year.
Do you suppose," the Walrus said,
"That they could get it clear?"
"I doubt it," said the Carpenter,
And shed a bitter tear.

"O Oysters, come and walk with us!"
The Walrus did beseech.
"A pleasant walk, a pleasant talk,
Along the briny beach:
We cannot do with more than four,
To give a hand to each."

The eldest Oyster looked at him,
But never a word he said:
The eldest Oyster winked his eye,
And shook his heavy head--
Meaning to say he did not choose
To leave the oyster-bed.

But four young Oysters hurried up,
All eager for the treat:
Their coats were brushed, their faces washed,
Their shoes were clean and neat--
And this was odd, because, you know,
They hadn't any feet.

Four other Oysters followed them,
And yet another four;
And thick and fast they came at last,
And more, and more, and more--
All hopping through the frothy waves,
And scrambling to the shore.

The Walrus and the Carpenter
Walked on a mile or so,
And then they rested on a rock
Conveniently low:
And all the little Oysters stood
And waited in a row.

"The time has come," the Walrus said,
"To talk of many things:
Of shoes--and ships--and sealing-wax--
Of cabbages--and kings--
And why the sea is boiling hot--
And whether pigs have wings."

"But wait a bit," the Oysters cried,
"Before we have our chat;
For some of us are out of breath,
And all of us are fat!"
"No hurry!" said the Carpenter.
They thanked him much for that.

"A loaf of bread," the Walrus said,
"Is what we chiefly need:
Pepper and vinegar besides
Are very good indeed--
Now if you're ready, Oysters dear,
We can begin to feed."

"But not on us!" the Oysters cried,
Turning a little blue.
"After such kindness, that would be
A dismal thing to do!"
"The night is fine," the Walrus said.
"Do you admire the view?

"It was so kind of you to come!
And you are very nice!"
The Carpenter said nothing but
"Cut us another slice:
I wish you were not quite so deaf--
I've had to ask you twice!"

"It seems a shame," the Walrus said,
"To play them such a trick,
After we've brought them out so far,
And made them trot so quick!"
The Carpenter said nothing but
"The butter's spread too thick!"

"I weep for you," the Walrus said:
"I deeply sympathize."
With sobs and tears he sorted out
Those of the largest size,
Holding his pocket-handkerchief
Before his streaming eyes.

"O Oysters," said the Carpenter,
"You've had a pleasant run!
Shall we be trotting home again?'
But answer came there none--
And this was scarcely odd, because
They'd eaten every one.

I know. Only in the gay dream do they want to believe all straight people have sex like they do so there shouldn't be a problem with it. I say very few straights do and the fact they do doesn't equate it with disorder of gay same sex.

The Antiochian Orthodox Christian Archdiocese of North America

The Antiochian Orthodox Church left the National Council of Churches last year over this very issue of homosexual behavior.

Story at http://www.christianpost.com/article/church/2321/section/ncc.speaks.out.about.withdrawal.of.orthodox.church/1.htm

It would be convenient to let GLBT's live tax free in San Francisco. With a clear target, the wrath of you know who ( or the North Koreans or fanatical Islamofascists) would rain down in a more confined area.
