I'm sorry. I thought you meant intra-Orthodox or intra-Roman Catholic as opposed to inter-those particular churches. You are of course correct that there are profound differences as between the two, though nothing a great council couldn't likely take care of.
Indeed. And I'm sure the "great council" will base it on some sort of "tradition" stringing together a verse from this church father and a verse from another until everyone comes to a general understanding, making it seem as these differences are nothing.
