**The official Vatican publication date for this latest document on priestly formation — November 4 — is the feast of the great patron saint of seminaries, St. Charles Borromeo. Borromeo dedicated his vocation to renewing Catholic life by renewing the priesthood and restoring — through the witness of holy priests — the mission of God’s people.**

St. Charles Borromeo pray for all our seminarians.

It's a good thing. No practicing homosexuals and no pro-homosexual cheerleaders in the priesthood. Pope Benedict is turning out to be quite a good Pope. Bless him.

The Church seeks to ordain only those men who can joyfully accept both the theology and personal practice of Catholic teaching on human sexuality.

Good on 'em!

However, I hope this is just a warm-up, before the Holy Father attacks the much larger issue of Bishops, priests, and laity who don't "accept the theology and personal practice of Catholic teaching" regarding heterosexual chastity.
