Which was not mine, or the author I was talking about (Harold Brown in Heresy and Orthodoxy in the History of the Church) intent. It was mainly an interesting point I came across last night reading was thought it made sense.
Brown was talking about the Nestorian controversy, and the reason that the term Theotokus was used (to define that Christ is true man and true God). But like I said, many in the US misunderstand the term.
