I always remembered a line from a book on the subject of Our Lady of Fatima I read as a child: Many of the onlookers, and virtually all of the press, "Came to scoff but stayed to pray!"

How unfortunate and sad it is that one of the BEST evangelizing tools the Church ever had - the miracle of OL of Fatima, as duly recorded by reporters from blatantly *hostile* mewspapers - is so underutilized by Catholics, especially priests, who seem embarrassed to relate the facts of the case.

The witnesses of the event were indeed innumerable, their testimonies agree and we are flooded with the documents they have left us.

So we have 50,000 witnesses who "saw the sun dance". What about the other 500,000,000 people on the daylight hemisphere who saw it remain motionless? On this one, I'll go with the odds.
