WE STAND & SERVE FOR THE WORLD PEACE, BY GOD'S GRACE.
Baseelia Foundation is a registered, nonprofit, ecumenical organisation in India, which follows the life and the mission of Jesus Christ. Also we greatly appreciate Mahatma Gandhi, Mother Teresa, St.Gregorios of Parumala, Yassar Arafat, Pope John Paul II, King Fahd, Dalai Lama, Matha Amritanandamayi and likewise leaders of the Love and the Peace. We stand for the World Peace, Religious Harmony, Unity of Nations, War on Terrorism etc. through the charities, childcare, relief service and agricultural developements.
We help the poor children for their education as supplying notebooks, pens, pencils, geomatrical instrument boxes, umbrellas or rain coats, uniforms, school and college bags and other materials for the education and one mid day meal for the poor students on the class days. Also we'd like to provide a mothly scholarship for the poor nursing students as well as university and technical students too to complete their studies. We find many students discontinue their studies without completion because of unable to give fees, unable to meet personal needs and purchase study materials.
We run village schools for the poor children and adult educational centres for illiterates; computer schools for the youth and tailoring and binding schools for the widows and poor women.
We feed the poor of those who are suffering of the starvation as "One Meal a Day Project" for those who do not even have a capacity to get a meal for a day. We supply them medicines and clothes too. Also we build and donate houses for the homeless and providing jobs for the unemployed.
We provide artificial legs, walking sticks, wheelchairs, stretchers, earphones, braille letter press etc. for the handicapped, disabled, blind, deaf and dumb people.
We visit the prisoners at the jails, having fellowship with them, arranging cultural programmes, giving them chances to speakout to the public, distributing sweets among them, and teaching them how to pray.
Baseelia Foundation was the organisation who appointed thousands of volunteers in co-operation with some other societies to give proper guidance to the people of Kerala for taking the family health insurance. In that way we could have had given job to many of the unemployed youth. And we were contnuously asking to undertake this project by the government. We're so glad that it has been taken by the Government of Kerala and decided to give free insurance to all the people of Kerala who are at the Below Poverty Line.
We'd like to establish mobile dispensaries for the slums, interior villages and hill places as well as for the places where the accidents, disasters, natural calamities, contageous diseases may occur. Also we wish to establish Rehabilitation Centers for the addicted, and the Juvenile Homes for the children who are having criminal background under 18 years of age.
1. GOALS OF OUR PROJECTS
1. Basic medical care for the poor and needy people including both males and females.
2. Psychological comfort for them.
3. Rehabiltation of the addicted as well as handicapped, mentally retarded, blind, deaf and dumb people (especially old people).
4. Orphanages for children.
5. Juvenile Homes for the children who have criminal backgrounds under 18 years of age.
6. To provide best stimulation for them.
7. To provide food, clothing for them.
8. To offer programmes for recreation.
9. Reforestation of the surrounding areas.
10.To provide them job facility for learning and to earn.
11.To train people in hospitality management.
12.To provide education to poor children and and illiterate adults in villages.
13.Special care for bed ridden people.
14.To reach immediate medical aids to the hilly places, slums, interior villages or the places where accidents, disasters, contageous diseases may occur.
15. To combat starvation.
16.To help the poor students complete their education.
17.To provide shelters to all of the homeless people.
18.To build "Peace Villages" in every state in India as per the vision of Jesus Christ, Mahatma Gandhi and other great leaders of the love and the peace.
PEOPLE CAN PARTICIPATE:--
a) by praying.
b) by introducing Baseelia Foundation and all of these projects to others.
c) by donating notebooks, pens, pencils, geomatrical instrument boxes, school/college bags, umbrellas/rain coats, school uniforms and other school/college materials for the education of the poor students.
d) by helping to feed the poor and children (One Meal a Day Project) of those who don't even have capacity to get at least one meal a day.
e) by helping to provide mid day meal for poor students.
f) by helping to provide a scholarship for poor students.
g) by sponsering the needs of an orphan.
h) by donating artificial legs, wheel chairs, stretchers, walking sticks, ear phones, braille script machine, spectacles etc. for the handicapped, disabled, blind, deaf and dumb.
i) by donating Sewing Machines for the widows and poor women.
j) by donating Computers for the computer training centers.
k) by doanting Van, Film Projector, Musical instruments, Light and Sound System, Generator, and the materials for making temporary tents to go to the interior villages and remote areas to arrange cultural and social programmes as a team.
l) by donating an Offset Printing Press, Machines and Computers for making films for the printing purpose, Machines for Plate Making, Computers for DTP, Cutting Machine, Laminating Machine, Binding Machine etc. to print and distribute literature and magazines, and also giving employment as well as training for the unemplyed.
m) by helping to establish Village Schools for children, adult educations centers for the adult illiterates, tailoring schools for the widows and poor women and computer centers for the youth.
n) by sponsering buses to establish Mobile Dispensary in each revenue districts of India (India has around 450 revenue districts).
o) by sponsering shelters for homeless families.
p) by investing to establish Cross Cultural Training Centers, Rehabilitation Centers for the addicted, Juvanile Homes for the children.
q) by investing to establish a non profitable TV Channel to promote cultural, social, scientifical and charitable services for the inter religious friendship, religious and ecumenical harmony, unity and integration of the nations and the world peace.
r) by investing to establish an International Cancer Research Center.
s) by investing to build "Peace Villages" in all States of India according the vision of the great leaders of the love and the peace.

Well that just about covers it. Sort of reminds me of Benny in "The Mummy"; selecting just the right religion to satisfy the times.
Whenever I read people supporting "world peace", it makes me think of Sandra Bullock, in the movie "Miss Congeniality", where she is asked what she wishes...all the previous contestants said "world peace", but she says "the right to carry firearms (or something similar) and the audience gives out a loud gasp, so she follows it with "AND world peace" and they applaud...

There is a lot of syncretism out East. I've seen it first hand. They mean well. Beyond that your guess is as good as mine, FL.
