I don't see anything on Saddleback's website that specifically identifies them as Southern Baptist. It wouldn't surprise me if Warren leaves the fold. I'm surprise he hasn't already.

I think he already has left. He hasn't made it official yet, kind of like the husband or wife who leaves the relationship emotionally before actually physically moving out.

It should be noted this is what Finny and Wesley did with the Presbyterians. Never fully subscribing to their beliefs yet remaining until the time was right. It just doesn't seem kosher.
