The world has always spurned the warnings of prophets. Nothing new here.

It's not just Terri Shiavo. That case got the media attention for a reason: to promote physician assisted suicide and euthanasia. Since the story is still warm it's a convenient vehicle for the larger message. Now the Schiavo story will soon be forgotten, just like so many other tragedies. Who remembers any one abortion? Who remembers the death of any one soldier? Outside their immediate family, probably nobody, really.

There is no such potential for reporting on religious persecution of Christians. That doesn't mean God does not hear their cries. When the "shaking and roaring" comes it will be because of all these abuses, and the article touches on some of them.
