Thank you so much for this, Salvation. I love seeing pictures of him as a healthy youthful man. My oldest son didn't recognize him. JP was really quite the looker! LOL. =)
I'm having a hard time winding down for sleep. I want to keep vigil with him.

I know how you feel. I spent three hours at church tonight. No Mass -- just praying.
Seeing him at 58, a healthy, vital middle-aged man is fantastic. THAT is how I want to remember him.
His whole life was dedicated to the message of Jesus, that is, love God and love each other.
I hope this positive news story STAYS in the news for a long time. Nice to have such a positive, helpful life to read about. I really have had enough of the other stuff on our woeful media. They just won't give up the rodneykingojsimpsonrobertblakescottpetersonterrischiavomichaeljackson coverage. They just won't.
John Paul II's life was something to keep in front of our eyes and ears for a long, long time. THIS should be inculcated into our studies and daily lives, not all the negative stuff.
My 2 cents for Sunday.
