Yes, Zondervan is now a Harper Collins imprint - but this "Zondervan = satanic bible" is crackpot loony tunes stuff, straight out of the swamps.

As you can tell by this particular poster's inability to think.

I think this evolves from some jealously in the evangelical movement. In my city, Salem owns a radio station that they use to run syndicated teaching shows as well as some locally produced shows. Their talk lineup like Medved and some others is not cleared on the station. I tuned in the other day and the host of the local afternoon show was gingerly tap dancing around the Rick Warren book and basically saying it was void of scripture and full of empty "feel good" stuff. The station and the local hosts are for the most part critical of the "prospertity ministries" such as Warren's and Joyce Meyer's among others.

I'll be the first to admit that there is more to the scriptures than some of these folks delve into, but as a primer for people to be exposed or a pick me up for those who have become disallusioned, these ministries are exposing more people to Christ than most of the hard headed "christians" out there mocking or worse the works of Warren and others.

From the link that you posted, I see that Zondervan and Harper Collins are owned by News Corp, the parent company of Fox News. Interesting turn of events.
