A most insightful writer. The analysis of the situation as it unfolded appears to be spot on - agreeing in substance with what Virtue had to say about the "machinations" of the meeting.
This, in particular, was of interest:
"Anyone who ever watched Joseph Bernardin and shills in action at the NCCB will recognize this maneuver: you rig the schedule so your allies can burn up the time with peripheral matters -- bureaucratic styrofoam -- thus crowding the hot button issues off prime-time into the very few minutes remaining at the end of the meeting."
This is precisely the tactic that has been used at every diocesan & national convention in ECUSA for the past 15 years & has borne such wonderful fruit in furthering the homosexual agenda. Those folks who have decided to remain in ECUSA to "fight the good fight" would do well to recognize these tactics for what they are and go to conventions prepared with countermeasures to keep the revisionist's issues at the top of the agenda, as ++Akinola did.
