Even though The Catholic League issues press releases in defense of just about any religion, when they were made aware that an SSPX chapel in New York was broken in to, vandalized and desecrated they remained silent.

The Catholic League defends the civil rights of the Catholic Church in the United States. I've never seen Donohue defend any other religion.

Why would Donohue make a big deal out of a single act of vandalism? He also didn't say anything ten years ago when the tabernacle in our parish church was damaged by teen-aged kids with a hammer.

He does and he has. He is located in NYC, the chapel was on Long Island. Maybe he did not speak about your church because no one brought his attention to it.

What the...? Why would anyone do such a thing? Vandalism of the Church is so stupid, I don't know why anyone would do it, except for maybe taking the monstrance or ciborium for gold.
