This sort of crackpot garbage gives "trads" a bad reputation
It looks like a great site for anyone, regardless of their faith.
Thanks very much for bringing this site to my attention....it's been added to my bookmark collection :-)
Wishing good health to the Pope

I know you are C of E, but you might find this interesting.
The webmistress is a member here at FR although she doesn't visit much.
Okay, instead of your typical name-calling, why don't you present the fruits of Vatican II? Or better yet, why did the Mass have to change? Why did these things need to happen? You have such a good time throwing crap at other people, why don't you sit down and explain to all of the "trads" why the New Mass needed to be promulgated. Explain yourself now.
"Since cause and effect cannot be seen with the naked eye, and there remains, therefore, conjecture on the matter of cause, I believe it legitimate for Catholics to be able to debate the nature of the cause(s), which have produced the effects in the Church of the present time--many of which are documented. If all aspects of a council are precluded from any such discussion, on the assumption that all aspects of all councils are somehow sacrosanct and divinely inspired, then we do a disservice to the pursuit of truth and a remedy, in my opinion. There are ambiguities and omissions in, and false translations of, documents of the recent council which have been used and misused by certain elements within the Church, with devastating results. Similarly, things never envisioned or commented upon by the council have been carried out, in the name of the councilthe radical changes to the Sacred Liturgy, for instance. This has now gone on for four decades; one wonders if this will continue for centuries. It will, if we label those who raise the question as unfaithful, or those who object as dissenters." Father Echert
He's one of the reasons the revolution has gotten this far. The hope of modernists has always been for people who would not think too deeply, would not reject blasphemous liturgies, and would not rebel against systemic corruption. It's a bit much to ask--but people like bornacatholic are ready to oblige.
Good post. Thank you.
Fantastic site, thanks!
As long as they ignore the links to "News" sights. A large number of them are sedevacantist, or zoos like The Remnant.
Oh, and it labels "The Catholic League", run by William Donohoe "neo-con."
There is a reason for that sinkspur. Even though The Catholic League issues press releases in defense of just about any religion, when they were made aware that an SSPX chapel in New York was broken in to, vandalized and desecrated they remained silent.
The Catholic League defends the civil rights of the Catholic Church in the United States. I've never seen Donohue defend any other religion.
Why would Donohue make a big deal out of a single act of vandalism? He also didn't say anything ten years ago when the tabernacle in our parish church was damaged by teen-aged kids with a hammer.
He does and he has. He is located in NYC, the chapel was on Long Island. Maybe he did not speak about your church because no one brought his attention to it.
"ten years ago when the tabernacle in our parish church was damaged by teen-aged kids with a hammer."
What the...? Why would anyone do such a thing? Vandalism of the Church is so stupid, I don't know why anyone would do it, except for maybe taking the monstrance or ciborium for gold.
I'm just glad my two made it through that age without killing themselves or us.
Father Eckert is our parish priest, and we are so lucky to have him.
Yes you are blessed!
