Good article! I love Confession. My only complaint is that the only time you can go is 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. Why not during the work week, when priests are supposed to be, like, working ... aren't they?

I love Confession.

Me, too. I rank it right up there with natural child birth.

As a reconvert to Catholicism, I've been blessed to have been surrounded by traditonal and devoted priests and I was surprised when I soon learned that some priests only heard Confessions on Saturdays. As I randomly looked over some church websites though, I notice that although regular confessions are scheduled for Saturdays, they can also be made by appointment. You shouldn't have to worry that you are taking away a priest's "liesure time" or round of golf or whatever it may be that's keeping them from hearing confession. There is NO excuse for this, it is their MISSION to administer the sacraments. I suggest you seriously use this option of appointments. If enough of you act you might see a change.
