Well, let me be a little more specific. All who seek God with a sincere heart will find Him, true. Because He desires our salvation even more than we do.

But if anyone ever tells you that they can seek Him and find Him in any other way than by means of the Catholic Church, now that is what is condemned.

The first person in heaven after Christ was the good thief -- a sinner and not a Catholic at all, but rather a fellow Jew.
