The real sadness of this article is how true it is.
The author stated that after a year of doing street witnessing, handing out tracts, working for a Graham crusade, etc, that he still didn't know what the Gospel is.
I find that true among most professing evangelicals in my experience too.
Evangelicals' anti-intellectualism is no laughing matter. "The scandal of the evangelical mind," Mark Noll laments, "is that there is not much of an evangelical mind."
