Nothing in the article I do not agree with.
***I feel there is a proper biblical way of honoring Mary***
This has been my point all along. It is the extra-biblical claims I reject.

However, he notes that he has received some negative letters from former Catholics who have become Protestants. Lol!!! A catholic freeper recently posted an astute observation. Protestants, in their pursuit of truth, arrive at the threshold of the Catholic Church. Catholics who deny truth, run away. (... or words to that effect).
As Desdemona noted on another thread:
"Maybe Our Lady is working in ways none of the rest of us can."

"George feels Mary was a great example of Christian discipleship and obedience, who should be praised for her faithfulness."

As far as the extra biblical comment, all I can say is that the amount of endtimes speculation and prophetic announcements by various protestant groups leaves me wondering how valid that criticism is. The literal interpretations have been colored by some highly suspect "personal revelations" that are apparently viewed as correct and biblical when they are not.

Great post. Although they're wrong, I could maybe understand those who don't want to honor Mary for fear that any honor given to her is taken away from God. I could never understand those on this forum who choose to deliberately dishonor Mary.

Well, as she only points to our Lord. As in the wedding feast of Canaa(sp?) saying "do as He says" this can only be a good thing.

I have never met a protestant that did not honor Mary .
Honor is one thing , allowing her to replace the object of our worship is another
