====You are to be a radiance of Jesus himself. Your look must be his, your words his words. The people are not seeking your talents, but God in you. Draw them to God, but never to self. If you are not drawing them to God then you are seeking yourself, and people will love you for yourself, not because you remind them of Jesus. Your desire must be to "give only Jesus" in your ministry, rather than self. Remember that it is only your communion with Jesus that brings about communication of Jesus. As Jesus was so united to the Father as to be his splendor and image, so by your union with Jesus, you become his radiance, a transparency of Christ, so that those who have seen you have in some way seen him.

A little off-topic, perhaps, but I'm unsettled any time I hear a priest calling for priests to become more "in love" with Mary. I truly think that relationship is maternal.

Instead, like Juan de la Cruz, they need to be in love with Christ. Fixated on and therefore reflecting Him always.

We all surrender to Christ. There is no loss of manliness to the priest who surrenders to Jesus in love.

(And all this yet another reason he cannot be married without shorting either his Lover Christ or his mortal lover and mother of his children.)

SAINT LOUIS MARIE DEMONTFORT
And yet in truth we must still say with the saints: De Maria numquam satis : We have still not praised, exalted, honored, loved and served Mary adequately. She is worthy of even more praise, respect, love and service.

God in these times wishes his Blessed Mother to be more known, loved and honored than she has ever been.

Under her guidance they will perceive the splendors of this Queen and will consecrate themselves entirely to her service as subjects and slaves of love.

Is it not reasonable to find that among so many slaves there should be some slaves of love, who freely choose Mary as their Queen? Should men and demons have willing slaves, and Mary have none? A king makes it a point of honor that the queen, his consort, should have her own slaves, over whom she has right of life and death, for honor and power given to the queen is honor and power given to the king. Could we possibly believe that Jesus, the best of all sons, who shared his power with his Blessed Mother, would resent her having her own slaves? Has he less esteem and love for his Mother than Ahasuerus had for Esther, or Solomon for Bethsheba? Who could say or even think such a thing?
