Funny how the UN doesn't "scold" some African countries for the practice of circumsizing (euphamisim for the complete removal of a young womans clitoris) when they reach the appropriate age.
They allow countries like Lybia and China to be members of the UN's Human Rights Commission and then bitch at Canada for allowing parents to dicipline their children.
The UN is more than irrelevant, the UN is dangerous.

The wheels are spinning, but there's nothing behind the wheel. Kids learn one thing pretty quick: what a bluff is. When kids realise that a parent is bluffing, discipline goes out the window.
