Isn't McLean, VA one of the wealthiest, most exclusive suburbs in the country?

From the little bit of info it sounds random.
The title is misleading considering that.

CIA Hq is in McLean, as are many wealthy folks homes.
FBI only investigates INTERSTATE kidnapping, with there being a 24 hour assumption of interstate travel after the kidnapping.

Yes, it is. It is very wealthy and exclusive. For example, Ted Kennedy lives there in quite a mansion.

My father was in the Air Force for 30 years. For several years he worked at the Pentagon and we lived in McLean. I was around 3 at the time, couldn't go outside because of the mumps, and was photographed standing in a window at our home. It looked like a hotel.

Isn't McLean, VA one of the wealthiest, most exclusive suburbs in the country?Expensive neighborhood, yes. Exclusive? Not really, except for the price tag. Some apartments and smaller homes.

"Isn't McLean, VA one of the wealthiest, most exclusive suburbs in the country?"If you are an armed robber, you go where the money is. Note this is outside Arlington County, which is inundated with hoodlums, gangs, and illegal immigrants.

Not exactly - most of the housing is not actual mansions (except the Kennedy compound), just nice Sixties-type houses on good big lots, whose trees have had plenty of time to grow. So the wealth is there, but not liquid. The residents are upper-middle.

Isn't McLean, VA one of the wealthiest, most exclusive suburbs in the country? Its right next to the upscale shopping district of the DC area - the equivalent of what most cities call their "Galleria" or other high-dollar shopping complex. You get alot of mixture there. It caters heavily to the rich people who live nearby but also has its share of vagrants, thugs, robbers, and mohammedans just like any area around a mall.

Something like that. It's got its fair share of politicians and diplomats. But I think most people are just middle-class/upper middle-class white collar types. Affluent or not, it's got it's fair share of crime. I had my car window broken and a few things inside the car stolen once. Lesson learned: Don't park the car out by the street.

Isn't McLean, VA one of the wealthiest, most exclusive suburbs in the country? It's not a gated community (although it has some). Yes, a lot of people living around there have money.
