Just got this from a friend with a DC office:
Our DC office just heard these exit polls. Dem politicos are reporting a low voter turn out in the Bay Area so they are thinking its gonna be a blow out.
Davis' exit polls show:
57% yes on recall
43% no on recall
47% Arnold
34% Bustamonte
Take this for what it's worth, but sounds in line with the polling of late.

If that's true Arnold should top 50% once L.A comes in. It looks like an Arnold romp in the making!

Man I hope your right.

that would mean Arnold beats Davis directly 47-43. That means a mandate.

Oh my... thank you for the update!

It would be sweet if Arnold receives more votes than the vote no on recall crowd. Otherwise we will never here the end of "Gray Davis got more votes than Arnold." Blah blah VRWC blah.

Will take for what it's worth, but I like it :).

57% yes on recall; 43% no on recall Hey, I got $5 riding on at least a 10% split (ie 55-45) -> is it too early to start counting my winnings?

Is there enough salt to take it for what it's truly worth? :-)
