,,, I'll get into this link - thanx for posting it. If the US hasn't ratified it, it's probably for a good reason. There's bound to be a glitch in the text at the very least. I'd be incredibly weary of anything put under my nose by the UN. We don't need them as much as we're being told we do. The UN is Communism's "plan B", plain and simple.

Article 37(a) Neither capital punishment nor life imprisonment without possibility of release shall be imposed for offences committed by persons below eighteen years of age

I think this was one of the problems the US had with the convention.
