The WMD Evidence(WSJ editorial)
Wall Street Journal ^ | Oct 5, 2003 | editorial

"We have discovered dozens of WMD-related program activities and significant amounts of equipment that Iraq concealed from the United Nations during the inspections that began in late 2002."

As we read David Kay's report last week on the weapons search in Iraq, the paragraph above is the real news. It concludes, even in this interim report, that Saddam Hussein was systematically attempting to evade inspections in blatant violation of United Nations Resolution 1441.

The Media and Democrat's bias on this have but a stop to the war on terrorism. This is ugly partisanship at its worst.

Unless there's a warehouse full of drones(he did have some),missiles loaded with mustard gas,barrels of WMD,powdered anthrax,and uranium,the media says..nothing found...the war is a fraud.

Seems to be plenty of justification for our intervention, provided your head isn't stuck in the sand.

There are those who simply will not give this report credence because they don't want us in "foreign entanglements" and trust nothing the government says.

There are those who dislike the President and want to discredit him on this board.

The Dems want the Presidency so they want him discredited. Most of the media is lazy when it isn't being partisan.Sigh

Let's face it. Nothing Kay finds will ever be enough for the dems. They MUST make sure that the credibility of the administration is in question. With the election just around the corner they are tasting blood. They want their power back at any cost. This is going to get worse as time goes on. They have changed the face of the enemy from the terrorists to the GOP.....and there it will reamin until they control the country once again.

Their heads are stuck somewhere, but it's definitely not sand...

"West Virginia Democrat Jay Rockefeller walked out of the Kay briefing to assert his dismay that nothing he'd heard proved Saddam's threat was "imminent" and thus pre-emption is wrong in all cases. In fact, the Bush Administration never subscribed to the "imminence" test when making its case for deposing Saddam. Mr. Bush flatly rejected it in this year's State of the Union address as too risky."

Once again the liberals are attempting to rewrite history to fit their agenda.

I guess one should not be surprised; it is their way.

If Kay brought in Saydamn sitting on a truck load of nukes, the democracts would say 'not enough evidence to go to war over'. N-O-T-H-I-N-G will change their tune.

"he is a party hack...."

Will their ever be a time when our country will be put ahead of party?

I understand this happens on both sides of the isle; yet this issue should easily supercede political aspirations.

I am not one to ever lose hope; but this is really can pose significant danger to our troops in the field.
