I honestly believe that if there was not so much money involved this poor mistreated woman would have been already dead. Her life would not have meant so much to everyone, from the doctors, the lawyers, her husband, ect.

if Jeb can find the authority to order privately held orange trees infected with a minor blight to be destroyed to prevent the massive infestation of the same to the commercial orange orchard/factories that are such a powerful lobby in his state, why doesn't he use his same authority to save Terri's life? Extralegal measures are not new to him. (before the Bush v. Jeb has the duty to uphold the laws of Florida. He has been notified that a murder is taking place in his state on his watch, to a defensless diabled person. She is being starved and dehydrated against her will, upon the false testimony that she is brain dead and wants to die. She is not either.
