MERCED, Calif. - Arnold Schwarzenegger went on the attack Saturday, denouncing the latest sexual harassment allegations made against him as untrue and charging that all of the 11th-hour allegations were an effort to "torpedo" his campaign for governor.
The Austrian-born actor also got a jolt of support from his home country when the man who trained the teenage Schwarzenegger as a bodybuilder dismissed as "absurd" allegations that the actor once expressed admiration for Adolf Hitler.

I guess their pollsters never made it out of the lower part of the GI tract?
Oops, I'm wrong. That's where you'll find the reporters' heads.
The whole LA Slimes' close connections to Davis' dobermans is being exposed for the shoddy journalism it is, even by their own staff.
This turd won't be floating on Monday, and I also see how the whole Wilson raft of s--- is also being flushed down the toilet already: from Watergate to Tidy Bowl in less than a week.
And what does it say about Diane Feinstein that she would stand by a man who placed her (Diane Feinstein's) photo next to Leona Helmsley's in a hideous comparison to Helmsley during his (Davis') campaign against Feinstein?
I would like the see the Davis campaign explain its "internal polling" after he gets trounced on Tuesday.
"...But she had to endure mean personal attacks to get there. In the 1990 primary, opponents compared Feinstein to Leona Helmsley, write the authors, 'equating convicted tax cheat Helmsley's crimes with campaign-reporting allegations.' Feinstein also felt a "very subtle anti-Semitism" was at play in the ad that linked her with haughty Helmsley."

Also August 7, 2003 interview on Online NewsHour Margaret Warner, Mayor Jerry Brown and Former Governor Pete Wilson:
"FORMER GOV. PETE WILSON: I think he's going to try the same tactics that he has tried effectively in the past. I don't think they will be effective this time, in fact a highly placed member of his own party, the attorney general, Mr. Lockyer said, I hope we will not see any of the some kind of, to use his phrase, puke tactics. He said he was tired of the trashing of the opposition that has been the trademark of Governor Davis in all of his races, including I might say the one that most of us remember, is that God awful ad that he did against Diane Feinstein when he had her image morphed into that of Leona Helmsley -- or actually the reverse. It was atrocious. It was not just tasteless, it was offensive and I think that what Bill Lockyer was saying is felt like a lot of people in his own party, a lot of Democrats who just don't want that kind of trashy campaign."

Wow! Former Governor Pete Wilson was just a wee bit optimistic, wasn't he?
I heard Davis say early on that Diane had given him advice on how to "act" during the recall. Did she laid a big goose egg or did she get her final revenge?
***Part of Feinstein's visceral opposition may stem from her own run-in with the process when she was mayor of San Francisco. Twenty years ago, a fringe group of gun control opponents succeeded in forcing Feinstein to face a recall. While Feinstein turned back the recall, it left an indelible impression on her, Carrick said.***Source
I guess she likes her "anti-Semitism" big and bold -- even if she has to create it out of thin air by endorsing false accusations.
Thanks for the excellent research!
