>However, the attack on Rush is part and parcel of
the Left's attack on American tradition.
When ESPN's
executives gave Limbaugh
the pre-game show job
was that an "attack"
on the US tradition
to leave sports as sports
and distance ourselves
from the NAZI tradition
of taking plain sports
and twisting it to
political spectacle?
If I were someone
who gets mad at things [coughs]
ESPN would tweak me
more than Rush-bashers.

>Is this some of that
really sucky modern poetry???
Are you kidding? Those
"poets" get grant money, and
can live on campus
where they can cuddle
with languid and bittersweet
english major types...

Thomas Sowell is able to chew gum and talk at the same time. Of course, the liberals don't believe ANY black is capable of that.
Sowell is one of the smartest men in this country. His opinions are ALWAYS worth a read, wherever they show up.
(Jewish World Review is a fabulous site!)

I also never miss the regular columns on JWR re finances, medicine, and household tips!

You have a problem with Jewish World Review? Thomas Sowell's columns are featured there frequently. It's a great online read.

OK.
But I was referring to the piling on, now that blood is in the water.

Good article. Thanks for posting it.
Except Speech Politically Not-correct
Mixing thought and entertainment is not to be tolerated. The left is coming to the aid of their core constituency - the non-thinkers. Some of them have no trouble rooting for the home team, but when it comes to choosing sides between the U.N. and the U.S.A., that game is a toss-up...too close to call.
Rush entered the coliseum and was eaten by the lions as the partisan crowd roared in approval.

Well then I guess I'm glad the firm peddler keeps a close eye on the Jewish World Review, now that you've weighed in you can get back to things superficial.

How's that computer situation coming along?
Best of luck with finding suitable employment. I may have a job, but it stinks. I am laid off for 2-3 months of every year, that time coming up here in another 2 weeks, at which time I intend to look for something better myself. I'm not sure I can take another year of this one.
By the way, have you seen this thread? Perhaps you can offer a response to my post #20....if you have ever given it any thought. Maybe it is just my experience and not a widespread situation.

(Jewish World Review is a fabulous site!) And evidently in some trouble, survival wise.
I just gave them a one time donation, and would encourage other Freepers to help keep them going.
(Uh, after you have become a monthly here.)

Facts can be ignored, but their consequences cannot be escaped. If the facts don't matter, this means the people who are going to have to pay those consequences don't matter. Excellent.
