Okay, so it's not just me... I haven't been registered here that long but there seems to be a lot of left of center types on FR. Now, I did lurk here several years ago and the spirit of the site was much different... maybe DUers set up a lot of sleeper accounts?

I lurked here long before I registered during the Gore election nightmare. I love this site. There are differences in opinions but lately it's been over the top on some threads. I have noticed a big change, more so, in the past few months. I wonder what is going on here sometimes.

I have refrained from spending much time on FR in recent months because of the vitriol that is so common among many posters on multiple subjects. I come here for news updates and invariably get turned off and log out. It smacks of the frustration I feel when the Republicans cave and don't defend their (supposed) beliefs publicly in the media and stand up to defend fellow Republicans that deserve their support. Bunch of jerks...chalk it up. :o)

It feels the same to me now, but it never used to......things have changed around here.
