Your words above. You are asking Rush to tell you something that is none of your business.

I did not pay the 24/7 fee to keep Rush in hillbilly heroin. I do not give my hard-earned money to drug addicts. In that respect, it is my business.

Rush is awesome! He certainly doesn't sound scared or guilty to me. He is in control, as usual. He has the money to make these degenerates wish they had never heard of him. Can you imagine how the left fears him? This attack is pure bull and everyone should know it! I'd love to know who this Maria Cline really is, the housekeeper's twice a month heavy cleaning lady jealouse out of her mind with envy? She's set for life now, however short it may be. She is probably a threat to the left also, greed being the catalyst for a loose cannon.

RE RUSH : I wish him well

I agree. Hypocrisy is not an offence worthy of jail-time, or even a fine.

volchef,

We've had similar experiences. I was having panic attacks and insomnia during the early 90's, and my doctor had prescribed anti-depressants before I had even finished telling him my symptoms. I was on them for quite a while, with this sinking feeling in the back of my head, that maybe he got it wrong, since he diagnosed me without testing me or anything

So I did what most in the medical profession call foolish: I stopped taking them. At the same time (and this is key) I started a diet and exercize regimen. Today, I am healthier than I have ever been (at 39, no less!) Also, I got religion, and turn to prayer whenever the "negative" thoughts start to creep in.

Of course, I guess I shoudn't be mad at my doc for zonking me out during the clinton years (hee, hee).

I agree. I have seen a number of them booted off just in the last few days. Glad there is an abuse link. They need to be sent away..:)

If you throw Rush overboard, Hitlery and friends win.

Let's see how many names have used so far: "dense" "libertine" "idiotic." I think that this approach speaks volumes about the strength of your case.

The fact that you fail to address my arguments speaks even greater volumes about your case.

Peace, man!

We know the Dems want Rush outa here. All year long they have been saying there is no Dem opponent to Rush and in fact they were talking about starting a liberal station.

Considering what has been going on this week with these MEDIA blasts against Arnold and Rush, I'd say the Dems are very busy. Funny, Queen Butt hasn't said boo. Gloating maybe??

You're right, getting loaded on opiates is better than finding an effective SSRI that's targetted at fixing the problem.

Why are you saying I'm "right" about an assertion I didn't make? I didn't say that "getting loaded on opiates is better than finding an effective SSRI." So why would you respond by saying that I'm "right" about it?

People have different chemical makeups, different metabolisms, different kinds of pain. What is effective for one person may not be effective for another. Prozac may be the miracle cure for Joe; Vicodin may be the miracle cure for Jolene.

Why you seem intent on determining what is best for others is a mystery. If drinking wood polish is what I want to do, it is no concern of yours.

Lessee; Limbaugh, Assistant Junior G-Man in the war against reefer, is accused of buying thousands of blackmarket pain killers.

Perhaps he was merely trying to get the drugs off the streets to make the world a safer place...

Assuming the bones of the story are true, I wonder how sympathetic Limbaugh would be to someone in a similar situation, someone like Teddy Kennedy for instance. If the evidence of some of his remarks about drugs over the years is anything to go by, the answer is "Not very."

Examples:

Dec 9, 1993 - "If (Surgeon General Jocelyn Elders) wants to legalize drugs, send the people who want to do drugs to London and Zurich and let's be rid of them."

Dec 9, 1993 - "I'm appalled at people who simply want to look at all this abhorrent behaviour and say, 'People are going to do drugs anyway - let's legalize it.' It's a dumb idea, it's a rotten idea..."

Sept 23, 2003 - "Ted Kennedy, whose liver is said to be shaped like a Chivas Regal bottle..."

By the way, reading the investigation in the Enquirer I see that both Wilma Cline and her husband David have passed lie detector tests about their allegations that they supplied Limbaugh with drugs.

Meanwhile, thirty pills a day is one hell of a headache.

Perhaps Limbaugh can go to "London or Zurich"...

Rushbo is not completely innocent and that's why he hasn't addressed the subject.

Vicodin is a terrible, terrible medication for mental health. In fact, there's probably not a worse one out there. Look at the health problems alone it causes.

I'm waiting for a James Carville line of "drag a dollar bill through a trailer park and you'll be amazed at what you pick up"

Maybe he HAD a prescription and the maid changed the story, forged his name, forged the doctor's name or any number of other scenarios.

I doubt it. If Rush were innocent, he would be claiming it now.

Were you captain of the debate team in college?

Uh, there is nothing to debate here.

It's so simple.

Again, for the last time, if one is completely innocent of illegally using drugs, one would be wise to state he is completely innocent of these publicly made allegations...

LOL!

Then he should have gotten a prescription.

The best most concise post out of 800+ so far!

Has anybody speculated why the gas station delivery? Everyone here is saying Rush was stupid to make a transaction at the gas station and not at home. Perhaps it was part of the sting. In order to prove that she was dealing with Rush, she had him (under desperation for more drugs or he was being in the process of being blackmailed by her) under surveillance by LE. The LE took pictures and are part of the case against him, and possibly part of her immunity.
