About 20 years ago, a friend and I were up late watching a series of 3 round boxing matches on ESPN or some other sports broadcast. We decided to bet on the fights. Everytime a white guy fought a black guy, I bet on the black guy. I'll be darned if EVERY white guy didn't win that night. I lost my shirt.

More like Rush is labeled a racist because he is conservative. Notice how the left gets away with their own racism-Bustamonte using the 'n word', etc. I'm sure you others could document and not to mention the NAACP which is a racist organization in its own right. Yet freedom of speech is a one way street. And it all boils down to Rush just opining that the media champions McNabb because they want a black quarterback to succeed. I don't know exactly where it came up, but the fact remains that there have been recent discussions of 'there need to be more black quarterbacks', 'there need to be more black coaches'. They are so focused on race as it is, but they get away with it and here this statement is being used by the media as being racist and 'Rush must be fired', etc. Sure, but notice how the lib Hollyweirdos and media Demonrat scum get away with saying the nastiest things about President Bush-he's Hitler, sending American boys to their death for profit, etc. on and on and notice how Eminem, for instance, is celebrated by the media saying the nastiest stuff, yet where is their consistency in outrage. It's freedom of speech then, sure! Rush has more serious problems with these drug charges now.

anyone here have a Mac game that they find interesting? One that women who were born curious and interested in figuring things out might enjoy?

BTW, I signed up at Rush's website yesterday to support him, even tho I get his show at noon on a local radio station...

Whatever your feelings on his problems, it is a nice way to show support to him for what he has done for the conservative movement and Republicans over the years...

I heard someone throw out a conspiracy theory yesterday. Said that Rush may have figured out earlier that something was up(maybe contacted by the Enquirer or paper for a response in the preparation of the story, maybe the maid not showing up to work after being busted, maid quitting, etc.), and thus the Sunday comments were made with the full knowledge that they would cause a huge uproar. They were not so clear on exactly how that would benefit Rush, but it is an interesting theory. In the FWIW category, I do recall that during his show sometime in the last week or so, he used an abbreviated version of his famous "Long haired, dope smoking, maggot infested, phoney baloney plastic banana, good time rock & roll FM type", that IIRC left out 'dope smoking' and a few other components.

So there's my contribution to the grassy knoll theory.

Never played Tropico---though it looks interesting---but I am hooked on Warcraft III and enjoy "Age of Conquerors," where, as the Huns, I have just sacked Europe. France was particularly pleasurable to destroy.
