Underlying point being that Riordan was more lefty than is Schwarzenegger. Having a few Dems out of scores or hundreds of "advisers" isn't nearly as disconcerting as what Riordan did. (Put differently: can you imagine the field day you would have against A.S. if it were discovered that he'd endorsed some Democrat? I think you'd be a little more irked than you are because he has a couple of Dem "advisors," yes?)
