We need to ramp up the high school and university Arabic programs so we have more home grown Americans to do this work. We are far too dependent of dubious foreign born Muslims. We use them becasue we are desperate.

But of course, if we say anything bad about the ragheads and the terrorists we're racists. Why the leadership of CAIR hasn't been hauled off in handcuffs is beyond me. But then again, until they do that, I won't take this "war on terror" seriously.

Sounds to me as if someone's planning a breakout, with maybe an attempt to get to Castro's Cuba and ask for asylum. If security's not tight there now, it should be.

Because it had been sent directly to Egypt and he had been given it there to pass on to somebody else here? Perhaps this was considered to be a safer way of circulating it than bringing it directly back into the States from Gitmo.

You know, I was wondering the same thing. I can see our bureaucracy being rather inept, but this appears to me to be a rather well orchestrated "roach trap".
Yet, it does make you (at least it makes me) wonder if there is any way to trust Islamic believers in our high security areas of government. The whole basis of Islamic belief is antagonistic to our system of government and our values.
