Where is the outrage?

I'm sailing in the same boat as risk.
The outrage is alive and well. I had the privelege of listening to Col. Oliver North speak at a ceremony honoring first responders from our area.

The leftist liberals took the opportunity to protest Col. North as the selected speaker. They just don't get it, do they?

My family takes the day off from school and work and makes it a day that we enjoy family and friends who care to share the day with us. My American Flag, Texas Flags both fly every day............ I'll never forget the anger , hurt and fear for our nations fragile ability to defend itself from within that day.

I believe every man and womnan today should either embrace or support the ability to defend ones self with a simple handgun. For the want of half a dozen small revolvers on board those aircraft that day we'd most likely never been exposed to the horrific atrocity that day.

Spero che i vostri giorni siano Carlo facile........... Cassaforte Di Soggiorno!!

Carlo - How proud you must be to have raised such a thoughtful Son! It shows the character of the father!

Matthew - there are many of us who still fly the Flag, mourn the 11th of Sept and are outraged - just not enough of us though. You make me proud of the younger generation and give me hope.

Your son is a wonderful, caring, empathetic young man of whom I know you are very proud. The following is for him:

Dear Matthew,

The outrage is still there, Matthew, but we are not "allowed" to show it any more. You see, when we were all taken by shock and let our bare emotions out in the open for all to see, it was acceptable to feel that way. No one had time to organize an attempt to squelch the raw emotion that came tumbling out. Two years later, the left-biased media and the ACLU-driven PC police have taken over our lives in an attempt to make us cookie-cutter people - all with the same beliefs and the same emotions.

They think they are succeeding, but they are not. There are still enough of us that are as enraged and as saddened and as determined as the day the terror attack took place. We will not be silenced. We will still grieve even though we are told we must put the past behind us move on. We will still express our anger and outrage against the terrorists, even though we are told we are bigots. We will still support our president as he fights against terrorism even though we are laughed at and scorned.

You see, Matthew, we are the "silent majority." We don't howl on TV, toss out epithets and lies and smugly sit back as the mindless sheeple hungrily devour everything we say. Those people are a minority, but they make the loudest noises and get the most publicity.

We, the righteous ones, choose to educate and express our views quietly and deliberately. We confer with God, not with our adoring fans, when we need guidance and security. We place our trust, silently and with faith, in those that are trying desperately to bring the US back to a God-loving and moral country.

We are the ones who have not forgotten - not for one minute of every waking hour - what happened on Sept. 11, 2001. We're here, Matthew, and our numbers and strength are legion. We just don't feel the need to stoop to the lowest depths to get our message across - just like those on the left have done.

And, you know what? We will prevail in the end. Yes, "it's the squeaky wheel that gets the most attention." It's also the one that usually ends up failing and falling off first.

God bless you, Matthew, and may you always have the wisdom and faith that you possess now. Do not let the buzzards get you down.

Hugs,
dansangel

Where's the outrage?

I wonder.
I wondered where the outrage was in February 26, 1993 and the Islamic terrorist bombing of New York's World Trade Center which was meant to topple the city's tallest tower onto its twin, amid a cloud of cyanide gas. Had the attack gone as planned, tens of thousands of Americans would have died.

http://www.fas.org/irp/world/iraq/956-tni.htm

Clueless people.

On October 23, 1983, 243 U.S. Marines were murdered in a cowardly truck bomb attack, ending their mission to help establish peace for the people of Lebanon.

Where is the outrage?

911 was nothing new except that more people died.

On October 12, 2000, terrorist in a boat attacked the USS Cole in the harbor at Aden, Yemen. This attack killed 17 sailors and wounded over 30 others.

Where is the outrage?

The American people collectively have an attention span of a five year old.

BTW, we've been at war with Islam since at least 1968.

Where has the outrage been?

Thanks for the ping Carlo. Tell Matthew not to lose hope. Tell him that we are here and that there are many people that will never forget. With his letters posted here, he has made a difference already.

And tell him I'm bookmarking this.....

Somehow, this thread and this just received email . . . seem suited for each other.

Sent: Monday, September 29, 2003 10:43 AM Subject: Re: [AP List] THREE OF HIS GENERALS HOME

Hey Meri,

That is interesting about these three brothers dieing at this time. I believe there is also a birthing going on.

My son Stephen and I just got back from Morning Star's Harvest Fest 2003 conference where we set up a ministry booth for the feast of trumpets. I sold over 35 shofars and ministered to many about the release of women in ministry. I also was able to tell a few folks
about "The wonder of 9-11."

Steve Thompson spoke about seeing 9-11 over and over, so I made sure he got a copy of my article below which I addressed to Rick Joyner and Robin McMillan as well for their discernment.

Blessings,

The Wonder of September 11th

www.pauljab.net/Sept11-Sign.html

by Paul Jablonowski 9/11/2003

"Here am I and the children whom the LORD has given me! We are for signs and wonders in Israel from the Lord of hosts, who dwells in Mount Zion." Isaiah 8:18, Hebrews 2:13

Pictured to the left is my son Stephen who was born September 11th 1999. The tragic events which occurred in America two years ago today on September 11th 2001 was a sign from hell of just how desperate the kingdom of darkness is trying to keep control of the earth. On the
other hand, the events of September 11th 1999, four years ago, was a sign from heaven that God's plans to rule the earth are indeed right on schedule. You can be sure that what God has promised in destroying Satan He will certainly fulfill.

While most people are familiar with the September 11th 2001 events, not very many know about the sign from God that occurred on September 11th 1999. On this day there were signs in the stars that were very similar to the sign described in the book of Revelation chapter 12.

This passage of scripture talks about a pregnant woman who is clothed with the sun and giving birth to a male-child who will rule the earth with a rod of iron. The dragon then tries to devour her child but is unsuccessful (Rev. 12:1-5). This exact scenario was played out in the stars on September 11th 1999 when the constellation Virgo, which was just below the horizon (clothed with the sun), gave birth to the moon (male child) at the same time that the constellation Draco (dragon) stood at the feet of Virgo.

The details of this very rare celestial event and its similarities to the "star" of Jesus' birth can be seen
at the web-page

pauljab.net/Rev12-Sign.html.

Revelation 12:1-5 (with my comments in parentheses) - "A great and wondrous sign appeared in heaven: a woman (constellation Virgo)clothed with the sun (just below the horizon), with the moon(male-child) under her feet and a crown of twelve stars (constellation Bernice) on her head. She was pregnant and cried out in pain as she was about to give birth.

Then another sign appeared in heaven: an enormous red dragon (constellation Draco) with seven heads and ten horns and seven crowns on his heads. His tail swept a third of the stars out of the sky and flung them to the earth.

The dragon stood in front of the woman who was about to give birth, so that he might devour her child the moment it was born. She gave birth to a son, a male child (the moon), who will rule all the nations with an iron
scepter. And her child was snatched up to God and to His throne."

While these signs can always be perverted (such as in astrology), they were originally given to herald important events in the history of humankind (Gen. 1:14, Luke 21:25, PS. 19:1-6). The Jews understood this concept which is why they asked Jesus for a sign in the heavens to back up His claim of being the Messiah (Matthew 16:1).

While you may be able to fake a healing or an earthly sign, no one can manipulate or control the stars. Hence, a sign in the stars provided a fool proof way of prophetic identity. Jesus DID have the credentials in His prophetic birth and accompanying signs in the heavens, but the
religious people of His day missed those signs because they didn't come the way they were expecting. And so it is today.

While the signs in the heavens have been all over the sky in our generation proclaiming a new era is about to dawn, few people are recognizing them.

What does this sign mean? God is certainly birthing something of great significance, but what is it? The signs would seem to indicate that this birthing was foretold in the scripture similar to the birth of Jesus 2000 years ago when His life was the fulfillment of scriptures that he could not have manipulated.

I believe it has something to do with the apostolic office that God is now restoring to the body of Christ. The restoration birth pangs have been coming ever since the reformation with Martin Luther. Over the past 1500 years the ministry gifts of pastor, teacher, evangelist, prophet and now apostle are being restored to the corporate understanding of "church."

With the restoration of the apostle, we can expect not just a revival of the old order "church," but a whole new revolution of what "church" is and how we do it. Those who are desperately hungry for a genuine relationship with the living God and are weary of playing the religious games with modern day "Churchianity" are among those who
will receive and embrace this new revolution of church order.

I am certainly not degrading the labor of our forefathers who have fought valiantly by establishing the great denominations which are known throughout Christianity, but it is now the proper time in ecclesiastical history to unite under one banner and allow Christ in His body to reclaim the earth for His glory. Part of the apostolic
anointing in our generation is for the purpose of bringing together God's body according to His pattern or matrix.

The beginning of correct order involves Jesus truly becoming the chief cornerstone (Eph. 2:20) and the head of His church body. This can only happen when we start giving our lives and meetings over to Him instead of looking
to man's ability. Our natural abilities are often an affront to the finished work of Christ. We need to embrace the cross and let God be God.

One of the biggest wrong mindsets that true apostles will help to crucify is the clergy vs. laity mentality. The priesthood of ALL believers must be restored where Jesus is the only clergy and his body functions according to directions from Him. This is not an excuse for independence from others, on the contrary Jesus will most often speak to us through people in His body, and we must be able to discern His voice through whomever He decides to speak.

However, true apostles will not draw men to themselves but point them to Jesus. God is not impressed with the giftings that He gives to people and we shouldn't be either. Many of the Lord's apostles are working secular jobs and considering it a full time ministry. The marketplaces will be transformed when they witness the true life of Christ in action.

The correct pattern for church includes a restoration of a "divine culture" to house the "life" that is always a result of a true move of the Holy Spirit. This divine culture will be an integrated pattern of thought speech and action that is based on a proper balance of the Word of God and the Spirit of God.

I believe it involves small group "house-church" meetings weekly, larger "tribal" meetings monthly, and three big region-wide meetings yearly on the three main feasts of the Lord (Passover, Pentecost and Tabernacles). This order is simply the biblical "wrapper" to contain the life of Christ. If it is done without the LIFE it will just be a dead religious work. Nevertheless, the feasts of the Lord are a big key to divine worship order. See

AwarenessMinistry.org

for how this is being done.

This sign and wonder on September 11th 1999 happened on the Feast of Trumpets which is one of the seven major feast days of the Lord (Leviticus 23). Trumpets in scripture are always symbolic of messages, and I think God is certainly trying to convey a message concerning the
birth of a new age in Christendom.

The specifics of this message will take years to fully understand, but the birth of something significant in the purposes of God in the earth has certainly been trumpeted for all who have ears to hear.

Where is the outrage you asked.
I'll answer you from my point of view,
it's worn on the faces of survivors
of that dreadful day.
Written on the minds of all who
witnessed the horror of planes
aimed at buildings filled with unsuspecting
humans, who in horror realized that
they would never see the light of day again.

In the dust, in crevices and places of the heart,
acid etched in memory
of terror, panic, and the awe of heinous acts
we had not seen in our lives so serene...
as a people of freedom land
the demons danced upon our land
and crying, moaning filled the hours
as visions flashed of falling towers
and people falling through the air
oh my God, what has happened here??!!

The outrage lives in some of us
we will not forget the death and gore
let loose upon our land,
let the young remember when our
land was safe from terror's hand
and hell's unholy band
of bandits and horrible greed, unleashed
and in our face, are we so dumb
to not remember that dark day??

You must be so proud of your son Carlo! And well you should be. Proves that you have done a superb job of setting a good example.

I agree with him, where is the outrage? I still feel it every single day, and will as long as I am on this earth. My outrage has expanded to include the so called leaders of the democrat party who are using this war to attack the administration, which I feel is decidedly undermining our security and harming our troops moral and safety.

I am appalled at this, and I can't for the life of me see how they can just continue to get away with this. I would hope that as their time for elections come due, they are soundly defeated for what I feel is their reckless behavior. It is outrageous indeed.

God help us get through this with our country intact, as they are trying like the very demons in hell to destroy it. Reading your son's post does give me hope however. Please tell him how much I appreciate him!

Children often notice what others miss.
My 14 yr old son remarked to me just the other day that there were so few car flags and other commemerations anymore. He is right..whatever happened to "Never Forget"?
In my office I put some imagery on the walls in 2001 with "Remember" and "Never Forget". Anyone visits me will get a reminder :)

I just read your thread about saying goodbye(very touching), and visited your homepage. You're an energetic man :)
all the best to you and yours :)

Tried the fudge and it's pretty good, but it wasn't chocolatey enough. Yeah, I know. I'm a major chocolate freak. I even doubled the amount of bakers chocolate and it still wasn't enough. And I had to add a tad more splenda (like 15 or so packets....) Ok, so I didn't follow the receipe. Even so, my husband thought it was good -remided him of a thick mousse.

Does anyone know if you can cook with sugarfree chocolate? Can you treat it the same way as regular chocolate? I think 8oz of a real good sugarfree milk chocolate would liven up that fudge a bit! Splenda has a bitter taste in large quantities - maybe the sugar alcohol in the sugarfree chocolate would help.
