The California GOP will announce today that it will endorse Arnold Schwarzenegger for their candidate for the governor of California.
The official announcement will come at 2pm Pacific time today.
This announcement comes as a big blow to Tom McClintock.

Who of us is blameless in our choice of mates? Or parents, or family? For years, my mother's picture was in the dictionary next to the term "yellow dog Democrat." It took everything I had, but I consider persuading her to vote for Bush in 2000 one of the high points of my political life.

Agreed. My own dear mother lately came over from the Dark Side after a lifetime of chanting "Union", even after her own mother got screwed over by the Teamsters when my (semi-literate)Grandpa signed the wrong line on his pension papers.
Mom loves Arnold. And it ain't celebrity worship.
