If the recall passes by one vote, it still passes.

On the replacement, it is within the realm of possibility that busty gets 25 %, leaving 75 % for the gop candidates (not counting the loony voters for huffington etc). I am simply saying that a 37%, 35% 25% spread, with busty at the bottom, would be oh so sweeeet.

More realistically, I see Arnold with over 50% of the vote, and every body else divvies up the leftovers.

Under Section 2.02.02 of the Standing Rules and Bylaws of the California Republican Party such a meeting requires 30 days notice with a published agenda. Since they obviously intend to proceed in violation of the rules, their first order of business will necessarily be voting to suspend them.

The scenario I outlined is extremely possible.

Yours on the other hand is a liberal bedwetters fantasy.

Arnold is a social issue terrorist. Likewise Wilson and Buffett. If you don't think so, ask the next baby shredded at Gloria Allred's hubby's string of abortion mills or the next one petrified to become an earring or the next one encased in glass as a paperweight or the next one rendered for cosmetics.

Arnold is his own cure. By stressing money, money, money, Arnold offers zero, zip, nada to the Latinos who will soon be your voting majority in Gollyvornia. Their voting majority coupled with the rampaging anti-Indian and anti-Mexican racism of the Muffies and Skippers down at the polo club will guarantee soon enough that Gollyvornia will be permanently safe from the utterly immoral rich and brainless and the amoral rich and spineless.

Arnold has said that people need the government to get everything for them. That is neither Jeffersonian nor economic conservatism. He also said that 95% of the public needs to be told what to do. Ditto. Please stop the pretense that Arnold is either a Jeffersonian conservative or an economic one. You are whistling past the graveyard of crushed California "GOP" dreams. Few people crossing that border in the dead of night want their sons marrying Bruce, their daughters marrying Bertha or their grandchildren slaughtered.

Whatever you do, keep the arguments going since it will be resolved in 8 days and the more that people are furious the better.

When you violate economic conservatism, Muffy and Skipper may have to rearrage their investments and trust funds. When you violate moral/social conservatism, innocent little people die very nasty deaths in large numbers. You may find that moral burden acceptable. I don't and I won't.

I'm hoping for nothing of the sort.

Just posing the question.

At this point I'm just hoping that Arnold works out for CA since he's probably going to win.

I just hope that California has chosen wisely.

If so, why is McClintock associated with the GOP in the first place?

If you have to ask that question, there is no amount of explaining on my part that is going to make any difference.

Wow. You sure have the Democratic Party's mantra of "All Republicans are evil rich white racists" down to an art form.

I think my friends and I will all pop down to the club for cocktails and to watch the endorsement. What fun.

Oh, yes I do. By endorsing Schwarzenkennedy, Simon has proven to be amateur hour and so has Issa. I don't care if Nancy Reagan issues a press release claiming that Ronaldus Maximus woke briefly to endorse Schwarzenkennedy. No one genuinely conservative can possibly endorse a social issue terrorist like Arnold.

Keep the arguments going though. It serves to remiond conservatives of what they need to fight in Gollyvornia.

Civil War II will most likely start in California as the hard-working, taxpaying "minority" recognizes that they now live in a Third World Country.

My father-in-law has lived and worked in the San Joaquin valley his whole life. He is not usually prone to violence. He goes with the flow, votes Democratic like his Union tells him to...

After his retirement 3 years ago he frequents the many Flea Markets between Fresno and Sacramento to buy auto parts and fix us his classic cars. He loves "the food" and the generally friendly crowd of Latino customers and vendors.

He was just diagnosed with Tuberculosis!!

His doctor told him point blank that the valley is experiencing a "mini-epidemic" of this once eradicated disease brought here by the swarm of illegals, particularly those from Central America. The doctor also informed him that he is seeing a number of cases that do not respond to any known antibiotic or medication in general.

My father in law is FIGHTING MAD NOW. I can't even begin to type the last words I heard from him. Finally he and my mother-in-law are putting the farmland up for sale and moving OUT!

All I know is the rest of us are sick and tired of the never-ending well of "Tom/Arnold sucks and Tom/Arnold doesn't!" threads.

You can say that again.
