The critics of the Texas Hombre are jealous of success they didn't have under Clinton.

"Mission Accomplished"

I just wrote Time a scathing note about their doctored sign. It seems the sign, "Mission Accomplished" was not made by the Bush admin. It was made by the CREW OF THE SHIP - BECAUSE THEY HAD ACCOMPLISHED THEIR MISSION.

This info came from the commander of the ship.

I told Time that in their zeal to discredit and disrespect our President, they had really discredited the military.

WHEN a beloved cleric was murdered at a holy shrine in the Iraqi town of Najaf and suspects got caught boasting about it at an Internet café, the outraged townspeople didn't lynch them - instead, they got marched off to the police.

This is all scrambled. The suspects were picked up by police, not townspeople, and they came under suspicion because they were talking in dialect and no one could understand what they were saying. In the charged atmosphere after Ayatollah Hakim's death, the nearest foreigners were grabbed as suspects. They have since been released, and the investigation into his death is quite murky.

The town in which all this took place, Najaf, is one of the religious centres in Iraq. Despite the fact that it is peaceful, and has been accepting of the new order, obviously the very fact that it is an Islamic shrine town will be enough eventually to put it in the firing line.

I had heard about this a long time ago. Isn't it funny how news like this is always LATE in coming to the surface? If it doesn'r fit the agenda of the lib media, it just sits and sits and sits.

I am with you regarding your comments. I too will write a letter to Time magazine. In my office we get Time free (at least I have never paid for it) and what I do is throw out the magazine when it comes in.

The lamestream press is, IMO, currently in a transition phase. They have been hit hard by bipartisan committees who have actually travelled to Iraq to investigate the true status of operations there. Their verdict has been somewhat harsh; the lamestream media have fabricated many stories and pursued an agenda of negativity. With a pool of reporters who do not venture outside of Baghdad and who hate the military and America as much as they do, I'm not surprised at their routine condemnation of our efforts there.

Remember, Eason Jordan confessed to us how CNN had covered up many of Saddam's eggregious crimes in order to protect their status in Iraq. The lamestreams all hate W and America and will do anything to discredit the successes he has had in Iraq and Afghanistan. To get the truth, all you have to do is talk to service personnel returning from Iraq. They are unable to distinguish the Iraq we see in the news at home from the one they just left. The one in the news must be on another planet.

Freedom wins again thanks to a President, administration and military who understand it.

As for the domestic enemies (aka Democratic Crime Syndicate) it's up to us to eliminate them.

I think I'll buy a copy of the NY Post today.
I've already cut back on buying papers and magazines that distort the news. It's time to spend some of the savings in a positive way.

Nice to see someone from the Washington Post taking this side for a change.

"Bush administration has been remarkably inept at communicating the success stories out of Iraq."

I believe this has been a missed opportunity also.
More positive news and success sories are needed.

Orin writes: "Bush administration has been remarkably inept at communicating the success stories out of Iraq."

Here the press, including Orin, should take some responsibility for excluding the good, and spinning the negative. The Bush administration has been remarkably consistent in their message, even to the point of inviting media criticism for always being "on message". The media does like sensationalism, particularly if it undercuts our efforts in Iraq which would tend to support the Democrat position that fighting in Iraq was a fraud. Is it ineptitude, or bias? Both are well documented.

Agreed. The Bush administration has been remarkably inept at communicating success.

The reason, the media intones, is not for lack of facts.

It is for lack of efficacy.

That is, the Bush administration haven't kicked the media's ass and embarrassed them to the point of humiliation.

Good God. Someday, Conservatives will awaken to the key to the success of political power in America.

What is the key?

Read on to find out, if you dare. Schwarzenegger's got it. Reagan had it. Dad Bush did not and lost. McNader doesn't have a chance. Senate leader Lott and now Frist were AWOL on this quality, and it has seriously undermined the Bush administration because of their lack of it. Buckley, in spite of his intellect, never had it. Neither does Will. But Rush - the man practically invented it and sweats it from every pore. Miller's got it. Coulter? Oh yeah, she carries the torch proudly. It saved the 2000 election, and is the only thing that will save America.

Does W. Bush have it? Yes, but he's reluctant to use it unless he feels he must, when it is sometimes too late. He needs to get it front and center, flat out, no holds barred. He is isolated by advisors who do not have this quality, nor understand how important it is.

What is it?

The Segway? No.

It is the Power of the Warrior Crusader, the fierce and menacing street-wise take no enemies Freeper Conservatives.

Freepers are largely responsible for taking back the election in 2000 with grassroots robust protests and effective dissemination of the truth at a time when our entire lives and futures could have turned on a more passive approach.

Like our forefathers who created this great nation, Warrior Freepers share a burning desire to protect and advance freedom and liberty in the world, and to expose and destroy the Evil of creeping Socialism. We have a deep, immovable passion for America, and we are Good.

It is my opinion that the foremost quality for nominating a candidate for future political office in the new millennium is simply this (to paraphrase Elaine on Seinfeld:) IS THAT CANDIDATE WARRIOR FREEPER WORTHY?

Almost nothing else matters. To be a Trent Lott sitting-duck, or a Bill Frist debating with the demagogues Schumer and Rangel, you need to be a courageous fighter first and foremost to penetrate the left-wing media conspiracy, withstand and anticipate the lies and deception of the Socialists, and get in the faces of the voters.

The Liberal Liars rely on the good-natured and pious polite intelligent conservatives of years past when they spread their deception and shamelessness across the air waves directly to the voters. If not, no amount of intelligence, qualification, or experience can make up a lack of this quality.

But now, Warrior Freepers are holding these weasels accountable, by their throats. You are either WARRIOR FREEPER WORTHY, or you are not a qualified Conservative candidate.

WARRIOR FREEPERS RULE THE EARTH.
