ALL Republicans and conservatives really must examine the consequences of this recall on the presidency, on our country and on the world.

Oh I really wish that were possible with you (R)noldites. If you really really understood what you are doing to the Republican Party, and to Bush, (and for the Clintons) you would wake up in cold sweats. I just hope you figure out how you are being played before its too late.

Is it your premise that Bustamonte will deliver CA to Bush? Or do you think it will be McClintock?.

 

The overriding fact of the matter is this: McClintock is not Reagan.

 

That McClintock cannot see this -- or chooses not to -- coupled with his demonstration, in real tiime, of political (as opposed to ideological) rigidity, are a clear illustration of why he is uniquely unfit to be the governor of the cultural hodgepodge known as the state of California.

 

Even if he were to win--a mathematically if not a PR impossibility--he would be unable, with his utter political rigidity, to deliver anything.

Whenever McClintock invokes Reagan, I cannot help but think of Dan Quayle's injudicious JFK analogy....

(So where is the Lloyd-Benson deus ex machina already? . "I knew Jack Kennedy. Jack Kennedy was a friend of mine. But I can tell you one thing, Senator, you're no Jack Kennedy!")

Swelter'd venom sleeping got,

SECOND WITCH (a Liberal Democrat):

Fillet of BURTON snake,

In the cauldron boil and bake;
