Then go to bed, because your bad manners and evassiveness has caused the problem, not I. All in all, you just keep right on proving, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that you aren't up to the discourse.

It's all very strange but I see it as a turf war more than a war between left and right.

IMO you have hit on the reason without hitting on the cause. There is a reason that the majority of party conservatives are behind Arnold and it is not a battle for control of the party, it is a battle to stay relevant in the party. If the California conservatives are blamed for this loss because of backing McClintock after the Simon fiasco they will be relegated to the back of the bus for a very long time.

You need a little diversion in your life.

I wrote this earlier--maybe it will take your mind off the recall for two minutes:

A Whispering Sound

Just on the edge of conciousness
So soft you can barely hear
The voices from the past
Quietly reaching your ear

The sound of your mother cooing
Lullabys as you lay
Peacefully in your cradle
At the end of a beautiful day

The noise from the street as the children ran
Oblivious to all but their games
The sound of your father calling you home
You can still hear him calling your name

The voice of the first love you knew in school
Those awkward expressions of love
Remember the way that they made you feel
Better than anything you'd ever dreamed of

Listen real close and you'll hear the laugh
Of your true love from through the crowd
It caught your attention and held it
No matter how soft or how loud

Wedding vows and baby's first cries
'I love you's' as they went beddy-bye
Those are the sounds that are causing
The tears to well up in your eyes

If Arnold weren't in the race and all Republican voted for McC, he would have 35% tops.

Bull$hit!

He'd have 35% of the total vote only if EVERY SINGLE VOTER REGISTERED IN CALIFORNIA TURNED OUT and voted strictly party line.

You're either a liar, or so politically inept your opinion has no merit.

The vote is based on who turns out to vote, not the percentages of who is registered to vote.

If every republican in the state and 1 democrat turned out, voted strictly along party lines, Tom gets a lot more than 35% of the vote, even though you state in this case he's only get 35% of the vote, since every republican voted for him.

So which is it? You a liar trying to purposely mislead people, or is it you just don't know what you're talking about.

which would be at least 10-15%.

Got anything to back that up, or are you just making a guess?

Hb

Environment. Education.

Where is AS more left than Bustamante on environment and education? I honestly don't know what you are referring to unless you are specific.

You write doggeral, that is about a C-, in a fourth grade English class. Find another " diversion ", as poetry isn't your meitre.

I have many " deversions " and reading your exceptionally badly written poetry, isn't one I care to savor.

You can find the time, to find and post your own tripe, but NOT to answer some civilly asked questions. I see ... it's all about you, you, YOU and what you imagine is worthy. ROTFLOL

I pity you and shall pray that you get help...soon. You have quite the inflated ego and pride goeth before a fall. :-)

Your opinion is your own, and you are entitled to it. Of course, I didn't write it for your approval, so it doesn't really matter.

On the environment he has retained Maria Shriver's cousin, Robert Kennedy Jr as his advisor. He is talking about enacting a number of new laws realting to all the Al Gore type stuff.

On education he refuses to consider any plan that would allow vouchers or anything like it. He advocates massive spending which would include day care, after and before school programs for any student -- all at tax payer expense.

I was an English major, I am a PUBLISHED poetess, I know the good from the bad and your poetry is worthless. You told me that I " needed " a diversion, which YOU decided was your badly written, nonscanable, mess of a sacarine," girly " poem. You aren't even in the " hack " class.

Your arrogance is only surpassed by your abject lack of talent and your presumption; not to mention you total lack of manners.

Good points.

Those are two of the many fronts that represent gains for the Left in all of this.

Here is how the leftist free rag "LA Weekly" put it:

On the environment, Schwarzenegger is actually to the left of Davis, with aggressive plans promoting renewable energy, curtailing air pollution and greenhouse-gas emissions, and protecting coasts and forests, contradicting Bush policy in many cases.

9-26-03 issue.

That rag is so left they endorse no on recall, Arianna Huffington for Governor in the second part.

Which laws? Also, I haven't read that about AS retaining RK as his environmental advisor. Do you have a source?

On education he refuses to consider any plan that would allow vouchers or anything like it.

I heard him in an interview state he supported vouchers but it was voted down by California (it was) so he supports choice where if the school has failed the student twice, the parents can remove that child from that school and place them in a better school (I think that was Bush's plan).

He advocates massive spending which would include day care, after and before school programs for any student -- all at tax payer expense.

I know about his initiative for afterschool programs. I did not support it. I never heard of AS advocating spending massive amounts for day care. Could you be more specific? So far, I don't think any of this supports your claim, though:

"Schwarzenegger has decided to run even further left than Bustamante on many issues."
