Reformers vs Ford, Rockefeller; Guess Who Wins

Over the past year, an unlikely coalition of political opposites joined in a brave attempt to reform one of the great unassailables in American life: Big Philanthropy, that vast edifice of do-goodery gilded with names like Pew and Lilly, Ford and Rockefeller.

Harold Ford, Jr. is a typical cowardly Democrat that gets his puppet strings pulled so much I'm surprised he can keep his hands down.

He consitently pretends to step up the to plate to fight off the extremist left wing of his party but quickly backs down. He goes so far as to cancel promised interviews in the news, TV, and radio.

He said he'd co-sponsor Social Security privatization to the point that the Republican offer included his name. Congress has been around long enough for even new members to know when and how they make promises.

But he got taken to the woodshed again and said he never agreed to co-sponsor that bill. A total lie.
