They seek to break us.

"They" think they're winning. They are wrong. Look around, Christians are stronger than they think.

First, the City of Ventura, California is under fire for displaying an historic cross
that was erected 221 years ago by the missionary-explorer Junipero Serra.
Serra established the San Buenaventura Mission in 1782, naming it and Ventura after
the Franciscan Priest St. Bonaventure. Today, Serra’s mission is a registered state landmark.

First the cross.
Then they'll find a way to get the mission (and all the others) de-registered
because it violates "church and state".
Then they'll buy and flatten the missions because they represent colonial slavery and
European hegemony.

It'll be interesting to see the missions dynamited, just like that one huge cathedral
the Commies took down in Moscow.

But our resident atheists should note the futility of this pursuit.

That cathedral has been rebuilt in Moscow.
And if they push their agenda too far, they can go the way of the Soviets.

Love the "obsessive-compulsive, with persecution complex" analysis. Too funny. Too accurate....too.

Serra’s mission is a registered state landmark.

I don't know about CA, but the law providing for designation and registration of a site as a State (Historical or Archaeological) Landmark in Texas has some serious teeth.

That city council would be in a heap of trouble if they tried to dispose of a Texas Landmark! (The whole purpose of landmark designation is to protect what has been identified as an irreplacable cultural resource.)

obsessive-compulsive, with persecution complex"

Honestly, I look at the photo in post 14...and think that only a mentally-disturbed
person could become agitated at the sight of a symbol of a code/religion that
s/he thinks is nothing but pure hokum...

Me, I see the Muslim symbols and I just hiss...I see the old Soviet symbols and
just chuckle over the relics of a broken "religion".

Checked out this URL. Words do not adequately convey the monstrousness of these deeds, nor the destructive capability of this form of 'government'.
