If Arnold doesn't represent the CA GOP "blowing it", I don't know what does. The party establishment has, by supporting a liberal, blown the chance to have a worthy governor in Sacramento.

The party establishment has, by supporting a liberal, blown the chance to have a worthy governor in Sacramento. Maybe true. But the right has not won the Republicans many state wide victories since Dukmejian.
If the GOP wants to win state wide and U.S. Senate seats in California, it seems that it will have to step to the left.
It's up the right to decide whether taking one step to the left is better than taking 2 steps to the left.

Arnold does obviously have sympathy for high tax paying citizens and businesses and would have the influence needed to bring relief. Being a very sucessful businessman starting from nothing says alot about his character. If McClintock is viable to win I will vote for him, otherwise I will vote to at least have part of a good agenda.

If Arnold doesn't represent the CA GOP "blowing it", I don't know what does. You're assuming these are all GOP voters that are voting for Arnold. They aren't.
