Good morning Mama_Bear and all. Hurricane Isabel paid us a visit last night and deposited This 75-year-old spruce tree in our front yard.

The beautiful tree had graced the mini-park across from us until this hussy--obviously a Democrat-- did her dirty work.

Front lawn is better than landing on the house! Can you using the wood for firewood?

A hardy G'morning to all y'all :-)

Calperinia, great to see you made it through Isabel okay.

Oh, my goodness!

I wouldn't have thought the storm would still be causing damage by the time it got all the way up to Pennsylvania. But, in looking at the weather maps, Isabel was one HUGE hurricane. Fortunately, it did not hit with category 5 force. As a category 2 hurricane, it did enough damage as it was.

You are so right! The township workers are out there now clearing the stuff away. I guess we will keep some of it for the fireplace though.

Hi, Temple, do hope that downed tree is the worst of the damage you got from the wrath of that democrat hussy Isabel. Did it tear up and transplant many other trees from the park?
