Very moving - rec'd in an email yesterday and passed it on. One of my friends wrote to the woman and thanked her for creating it.

You got me cryin' over here, man. Their last words just send chills:

Jeremy Glicks Phone call:

Jeremy Glick, traveling on the same flight also called his wife. Jeremy was 6'-2" tall and weighed 220 pounds, he was former college Rugby player and excelled in Judo. Here is what he told his wife (paraphrased):

"Honey, it’s bad news." "There are some very bad men on the plane. The men have a bomb and they have a knife. They are Arabic-looking men. They are wearing red headbands and there are three of them.".

"We've had no contact with the pilots, but the men have taken over the plane and have moved everyone to the back of the plane and left us here."

"Lyz I need to know something. One of the other passengers has talked to their spouse, and he said that they were crashing other planes into the World Trade Center. Is that true."

[His wife pauses, not knowing what to say, but finally tells him it is true. There is a pause of a few minutes after hearing this.]

"I love Emmy, take care of her. Whatever decisions you make in your life, I need you to be happy, and I will respect any decisions that you make. Now, I need some advice - what to do? Should we, you know, we’re talking about attacking these men, what should I do?"

[His wife pauses for a long while, but finally tells him she thinks he needs to do it, after which there is another puase for a couple of minutes.]

“OK, The others and myself have voted to attack the terrorists. I have my butter knife from breakfast.. You know, I’m going to leave the phone here. Stay on the line, I’ll be back."

[The father in law takes the phone as Jeremy's wife could not bear to listen. There was a few seconds of silence folowed by a scream. More silence followed by another scream ... then ... nothing. Jeremy never came back to the phone.]

They were true heroes, in every sense of the word. They knew what they had to do for their fellow countrymen. Several knew that their lives were forfiet...but they did what they had to do for others.

God bless and rest them each one...and bless their loved ones who have been left behind.

...and God grant us the will as a people to perservere, to not waiver, to not falter...and to utterly destroy those who planned and carried out the attacks and all those who abet them.

If you want some other great stories, read the eyewitness accounts in the right hand pull-down menu at that site.

Again...hard to type while crying...

The passengers of Flght 93 have always been the first heros to fall in a war started by the Islamists. They're also the first non-patriots in 200 years to willingly give their lives to defending our country from attack by a foreign enemy.

May God bless and keep all the heros who died on 9/11/01, and all those who continue to give their lives to defend our freedom against the same enemy: organized terrorsm.

Glad this was put on the web. Yes, hopefully, we will never forget, and hopefully, time will tell the TRUTH of the tale. Let our descendants never forget that when greed and dominance over others is sown, the crop that is reaped is a bitter seed.
Ironic that the animal on this planet most capable of compassion and understanding is also the animal that inflicts the most pain on its own kind and other kinds, and even on its own home, Earth.
There was more to September 11th than many realize, or are willing to see. It may look different, but it's merely a repetition of history. We're still doing the same things we've done for thousands of years, thinking it won't catch up to us. Time heals wounds, reveals truth, and changes our perception of what we've experienced.
If we allow it to, the truth of time will set us free.
I especially liked the inclusion of the quote by Thomas Paine: 'If there is to be trouble let it be in my day, that my child may have peace.' That's my prayer, as well.
Maybe someday humanity will rise from the fog of denial and realize what is REALLY going on! Only then can we begin to change, and, hopefully, live in a good way, a credit to our fellows.
Remember, God blesses all creatures great and small, not just those of America.
Thank you and bless you, ALL.
