I guess I'm wondering what electing Arnold would change. I'm sure Arnold is more honest than Davis or Buste, and he might be less likely to raise taxes. But I keep waiting for Arnold to come out swinging for something I believe in. And I'm not hearing much.

Since I'm military and residing in the state against my wishes, I can't vote anyways...although I pay a ton of taxes to california. But if y'all want to convince McClintock supporters to vote for Arnold, you need to try something more positvie than, "He isn't as awful as Buste!"

See Dan's response above, and check out his link. It actually offers a few reasons FOR supporting Arnold. The McClintock supporters I meet aren't going to be swayed by, "Hold your nose and vote for Arnold". Nor will they be swayed by, "You idiots! What if Buste wins?" They might, however, be swayed by rational discussions on what (few) positive things can be said about Arnold.

If you want to blow off steam, feel free to call McClintock supporters idiots. If you want to change someone's mind, start thinking about reasons to vote FOR Arnold.

My first choice is McClintock, but I will certainly not do anything that would help Davis stay in office, or elect Bustamante

The above is the first sentence of my post. In an ideal world he has all the qualities, and is closest to my ideologies. The last thing AS wants, is to be known as the Gov. when it metaphorically slides into the Pacific Ocean. The dims OTOH will just keep doing business as usual, and when failure comes, as it will, they will blame every one but themselves, and find a convenient scapegoat!
