Hello dutchess. We just heard from Jeff (our middle son), he called this weekend. He is still in Mosul. He had some bad news for us tho'. We were expecting him home by Christmas but now it looks like may not be until March or April. It's getting frustrating for them over there. They had just been told a couple of days before that they would be leaving in October, so morale has taken a nosedive.
Our new granddaughter is due in about 3 weeks. Her daddy is in Pensacola now looking for a new house, as he will be transferred there in December. Going to be hard on them to move from South Dakota to Florida in December with a 2 year old and a newborn (plus a dog and a cat), but then that's the military life, one adventure after another.
