that illegal immigrants pour $1,400 more into California's economy than they get back,

Where does Bustamante think that money they get comes from in the first place? Illegals take jobs, they make some money, they spend some money ---- but illegals are doing nothing to actually create any wealth. There is no way an illegal who has brought over 5 to 8 kids is paying enough in taxes to pay for what it's costing to educate those kids. Also --- who does Bustamante think is sending $35 billion to Mexico?

Bustamante conveniently overlooks the cost of incarcerating the large number of illegals in our prison system.

I wish somebody had the presence of mind to ask Davis or Bustamante why, if illegals are such a boon, they're nagging Bush to fork over money because he's "failed to control the borders." If you believe their public statements, California ought to be paying D.C. extra for the privilege of being overrun by these economy-enhancing hordes.

I really only hit the "post" once. I deny all responsibility for this duplicate post. I claim my new American right to blame someone else.

Look closely at his wording, and you will see that each time Bustamante was asked about all the troubles surrounding "illegal immigrants," he altered his answer and spoke only of what we gain from "immigrants."

All the politicos (save McClintock) do it. Journalists and talk show hosts will have to phrase their questions on illegal immigration with the rejoinder, ". . . and by the way, we're talking about illegal immigrants, not immigrants. Please keep on topic."

"Senate Bill 2 comes closer to socialism than anything I've seen heading for approval in 20 years. It would force California's hard-hit small and medium-sized businesses, with 20 or more employees, to pay 80 percent of employees' health coverage. Companies with more than 200 employees would be forced to pay that for the whole family. Even part-timers get this big perk."

Q: What is Arnold's stance on this legislation?

A: Arnold has no stance on SB2. He is awaiting word from his mentor his handlers (Warren Buffet, Rob Lowe, Ted Kennedy) before making a statement.

"Davis says he'll sign SB 18, giving the obscure Native American Heritage Commission the power to stop development on anyone's land in California if tribes feel construction interferes with a sacred site anywhere in the region."

Q: What is Arnold's stance on this legislation?

A: Arnold has no stance on SB18. Another instance of Arnold failing to prove to the voters of Kalifornia that he has their best interests in mind.

VOTE TOM McCLINTOCK

Davis nor Bustamante should ever be allowed to forget this was said. If they ever suggest federal bailouts, they need to be reminded they are gaining so much from the "immigrants" they shouldn't need bailing out. All welfare to California should be cut off --- the immigrants are obviously bringing in so much they can cover all the budget deficits.

I wonder how much white punks on dope in California are sending to Mexico --- I don't think that $35 billion that Fox always brags about even includes the money coming in from illegal drugs.

It wouldn't surprise me to see Bustamante come up with the solution of releasing them all. He'll do whatever the Mexican government instructs him to do --- they'll probably tell him to do that.

Kalifornistan is getting what it deserves.

Approximately 11 million of California's 30+ million population are conservative Republicans.

Are you saying those 11 million conservative Republicans are getting what they deserve?

What have they done, other than try and overcome the rampant puke liberalism that infests the state?

I didn't write the post you're replying to, but: While I certainly don't believe you 11 million deserve to get what you have already gotten (and which I think will get much worse), I do think you all have GOT to get control of your state GOP from the hands of whatever milquetoasts are currently running the party. (Easier said than done, I know, but the time has come to fight like hell.) And I do have to admit that if I lived in California, I would be very seriously considering a move to another state, unless my job absolutely required me to stay in CA.

If Arnold or McClintock wins, I'd probably stick around a year or two to see if either of them could overcome the venomous, hate-filled socialist RATS that control the Legislature (which, sadly, I don't think either of them will be able to do unless the public starts recalling the legislators as well). But if the recall fails or "N*****" Bustamante wins, I think the game is over, and the best thing for you and your family will be to move elsewhere until after the inevitable collapse of the state and its equally inevitable rebuilding (with a solid conservative GOP supermajority in both houses and iron-fisted control of the Governor's Mansion, with the RATS out of power for generations to come.) But that could take ten years or more. Maybe even twenty.

Illegal immigration is NOT about money. It is about entering the US illegally.

Are drug dealers good for the economy too because they generate a lot of money?
