Try to see the video. It performs great and looks smart. This is the only car I've been interested in since getting the Jag.

Of course, what's really sad -- veering off topic about as far as possible, sorry -- is that my alma mater's athletic program has tanked to such an extent that I can only make fun of others. Watching UNC play Florida State last weekend was like watching someone go bear hunting armed with a hickory switch.

I have twice witnessed cars drive right down the boat ramp and into the water at the Ala Wai Marina. One a rented jeep, the other a rented convertible. Down the ramp and right to the bottom both of 'em. The tourists in the convertible took off. The ones in the Jeep stuck around to argue with the rental car agent about having to pay for the damages. They were really bent when the Coast Guard showed up and told them about the fine for polluting the harbor.

I've seen a couple of car launches, too. Somewhere I have a great series of photos of an old white Plymouth deep sixing itself. This photo isn't mine:

...like watching someone go bear hunting armed with a hickory switch.LOL... I didn't see all the game, but that is an apt description of what I did catch.
Don't feel too bad, at least UNC played a REAL team.
I went to NC State's season opener and we played Western Carolina U. [final score: 59-20]
Western Carolina?!? What's up with that?
Our parking spot was close enough to see the Jumbotron TV, so we ended up heading back to tailgate, drink beer AND watch the game [sort of].

I've seen several where the trailer went in too deep and pulled the tow vehicle in with it. The two I described were just driven right down the ramp into the water.

I remember the first time I saw that car cruising down the Charles River. Haven't seen it around Cambridge in years. There's another car that hangs out here, a Miata painted black and white like a cow. Has a horn that sounds like a cow mooing. We call it a Mooata.

By the way, Chuckster, I meant to explain the duct tape pic on this thread - it was meant for another in case you wondered.
We used to have a trailered boat and what you describe must be the funniest bit. You're supposed unlock the boat from the trailer before backing into the water, obviously so it will float...a lot people seem to forget that and those people are sunk along with their boat, their trailer, and whatever vehicle that brought them there.
