This is legitimate Support Our Troops, folks. 100% goes to the kids of slain service members. This appeared in The Stars & Stripes, the American service member's major newspaper.
Organizers and board members serve on a volunteer basis so that 100 percent of donations go toward buying the bonds, Haas said.
Donations can be made through the Combined Federal Campaign, selection 2134; via Internet at www.www.mc-lef.org; or by mailing contributions to P.O. Box 37, Mountain Lakes, N.J. 07046.

Thanks to both of you. He is headed to OCS in a month. I think it will be a little different from his Recon Team! He did 4 years in Penn State in under three and made honor society. I am so glad I am through editing papers!!!! LOL

Kudos to your son for graduating from Penn State and then heading back to the Corps.

Thank you. He loves the Corps and thrives in the environment! He was called back after 9/11 and realized how much he enjoyed the rigors!

We just visited the campus for the first time in July - what a beautiful place! Our daughter has already submitted her app for next summer......so we're keeping our fingers crossed............
It's a little too early to say, "We Are"......lol

Please tell your son I said
"Thank You for your service to our country."

There are many excellent profs there; then, there are the others. Tell your daughter to avoid the feminazis! But I won't go into that now. My son loved it more over the summer than he did in during the year. He did distance courses too at the same time. I was up many a night until midnight - editing - then up at 5:30 AM for work. LOL
