Compared to most on here, I'm a newbie. What has FR done for me?? It keeps me up to date on all current events. It proves to me that I'm not just a "nut" job who doesn't know what's really going on. It shows me every day the stupidity of the Dem/libs. It reinforces my faith in our great President and this administration. It helps me forget when I'm not feeling well and it keeps me company when I can't sleep. Most of all, it lets me know there are wonderful people in this country who really care about each other....for all of this I am very grateful.

I spent 3 days in the dog house, I donate, I pig roast, I push the limit.(and I'm constantly told so.)

FR keeps me sane, gave me guts to launch a website, gives me sometimes the only adult conversation I have for days, doesnt ask a lot from me when everything else in my life does, answers my questions, has wonderful techies, allows me to be on the periphery and not be responsible, makes me laugh...and sometimes cry...makes me mad and has made me a more brave and solidified conservative. I actually have been here for years and oddly enough, have not made any relationships with other Freepers although I enjoy them all, except one turkey...but even heaven has clouds... I have a bond with the members of FR. I am really glad it is in my life.

It's also shown me how many splerts of coffee it takes to finally kill a keyboard....

Free Republic has broadened my mind...........and my butt.
(too many hours in my computer chair) But it always provides me with talking points with my friends. Mr. Rushmore and I travel overseas alot on business and I refuse to go without the laptop. FR keeps me in touch with the world no matter where we are. Thank you JimRob.

...that abbreviations are the way to go, whether you are LOL or JK.
...that pinging yourself to an article is broadcasting the fact that you are a newbie.
...that a moose and cheese are powerful things, esp. when around your sister.
...that if you do not post an Ann Coulter pic on an Ann Coulter thread you started, you are evil.
...that the people who are the most insane are the most remembered, most charished, and most loved of all.
...that everyone can find a place in the world.
...that you can close your eyes, cross your arms, turn around, and fall back with full confidence into the arms of people you have never met in your lifetime. And they will catch you. Every time.
